Techniques

Okay so let's be honest here there are just so many techniques that can be used to create an effect. So how do you keep track of which technique you used? My answer is I don't. I don't know the name of every type of swirl. So I now it by method. It's much simpler. When concerning swirl techniques there are some basic descriptions that will satisfy.

There is in the pot. That means you put the colors you want swirled into your pouring cup. You can drop it in from a height or like spattered paint. Layer it horizontally or vertically or a combination of these things.

Then there is in mold. This is where you pour into the mold then mix or don't with a tool. You can use any tool. From a fork to a straw . When using this technique the important not is usually the tool and the where.

My point? Well to create these flowers. I pour in mold from a corner or several corners I used a pencil for out and chopstick for in. I pulled out before pulling in. Abbreviated Mc O/I PenChp.
